Attending a virtual wedding can be a fun experience with no travel involved and less stress. Your guests can join from their sofa sipping a glass of wine and celebrating with you.
They can even watch your event on their TV using Chromecast or AppleTV!
The best part? They can be a part of it.
When using EventLive to live stream your wedding, your guests will be able to leave messages and good wishes for you.
There will be a virtual guestbook available to them at all times. No more putting drinks down to leave the couple a nice, thoughtful message.
But wait.. What about the photos?
They can include them too. We really thought this through.
How does EventLive’s Guestbook work?
Like every other aspect of your wedding live stream experience, it will be easy. Promise.
The first thing you need to do is to schedule your event if you haven’t done so already. You can schedule the day before or many months in advance, but I recommend you not to wait until the last minute.
The reason is simple: You might want to upload a beautiful slideshow, invite guests so they can RSVP, and write a Pinned Message on top of your guestbook.
It will look something like this:
As you can see, your family and friends will be able to read your Pinned Message as they watch your wedding. They’ll also be able to sign the Guestbook with the click of a button.
Pro Tip: Some brides mentioned that they forgot to add a Pinned message to their guestbook because they tried to do everything last-minute. As you already know, weddings can be very time-consuming. If you have the chance to schedule at least a few weeks in advance, you won’t be rushed to do any of this.
If you have some time to plan, here's a full guide on how to live stream your wedding day.
What will your Guestbook look like?
We have designed the Guestbook to be downloaded in a beautiful PDF file that can be printed any time after the wedding day.
It will be available right after the live stream, with your wedding video.
Your guestbook will look like this:
Your wedding guestbook is something you will want to keep and look back in the future. It will include memories, well wishes, and messages from people that love you. People that were there for you on your wedding day.
One of our brides encouraged virtual guests to be funny with their messages and photos and the results were hilarious.
Guests at home were having as much fun as the ones attending the event.
You can get creative with your Pinned Message or you can simply ask them to write their wishes for you two. No matter which alternative you choose, be sure to make it yours.
